Bio

Dylin Taylor (she/her) is a director, theatermaker, arts administrator, and visual artist based in New York City. She is interested in creating playful, intimate theater that illuminates how we have been shaped by the world and how we can unearth the hidden or undiscovered parts of us out to play.

Directing credits include Stuy or Die (Lighthouse Ladies), How Do I Tell Her? (Åbo Svenska Teater), Clown Lung (Kitchen Sink Theater Co.), Tourist Trap (Ars Nova/Samuel French OOB/Cellunova 新戲胞劇團), The Marie Show: or How To Get a Wh*te Boyfriend (NYU Tisch), The Half Lives of Digital Stars (Personal Pizza Party/Elif Collective), Little Heaven: TMP (NYU Tisch), Agoraphobic/Claustrophobic (NYU Tisch) and the short film Dark Mornings. She has also developed and shown work at Culturehub@La Mama, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Theaterlab, The Chain Theatre, The 46th Asian American International Film Festival, Onboard XR Theatre Festival, Playwrights Horizons Theater School, along with a plethora of random basements in Brooklyn.

Other affiliations include Williamstown Theatre Festival, New York Theatre Workshop, Park Avenue Armory, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, and The New Group. She graduated in the inaugural class of the Collaborative Arts BFA at NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
